Jay Karales, known professionally as LowRes Wünderbred is a Greek-American film director, actor, comedian, and novelist from Boston, Massachusetts. He is best known for directing and starring in Mass State Lottery (2024), Omega Fish Corp. (2025), and the sketch comedy series CMFRT_SYSTMS (2019-2021) and being the founder and former managing editor of the publishing company CLASH Books. His second feature film Disorderly is slated for release in 2025.

Forgotten Genres (2021-Present)
Forgotten Genres is a film production company based out of New York, New York founded by Jay Karales in 2021. It is a filmmaker-first studio that specializes in creating and distributing niche films and limited series that would otherwise not be green lit in the traditional moviemaking system. Its mission statement is to create disruptive, risk-taking films shot in New York City, as independent cinema is the most vital and innovative form of the medium. Supporting filmmakers who are willing to take risks and tell stories that challenge the status quo is of the utmost necessity in an era of creative stagnation.
